Seat belts save lives and prevent injuries.
As parents, loved ones and crash survivors who have suffered the catastrophic effect of this national tragedy, we want to make changes.
As a lasting legacy to our lost loved ones, we seek a reasonable and practical way to:
1. Make lap-shoulder seat belts mandatory on every new school bus purchased.
2. Make lap-shoulder seat belts mandatory for motorcoaches (student charters) and eliminate the use of unsafe motorcoaches in student transportation until such time as basic occupant crash protections are installed.
We had to learned the hard way. We hope the information in this website will educate you so that future deaths and injuries will be prevented.
